Myron X -
Welcome Traffic
spoken word rhetoric and afterhourssexmusic

Myron X is a former DJ, record producer, magazine contributor, movie critic screenwriter and a staff writer for a children’s TV show.

In his current position as a “Media Correspondent”, Myron X reports from a from a world populated by defunct debutantes, hopeful drag queens and others from the fringe element. His resume is spotty since most of his former employers did not survive the econmic bubble burst of the early 21st century.

Inspired by the likes of Gil Scott Heron, William S. Burroughs, and Tom Waits, Myron X has produced a music CD that blends brief dispatches from his sordid past and grooves he calls “afterhoussexmusic” to create a unique atmosphere.

Myron X currently resides in Washington D.C. with his family. He presently aspires to bring his spoken word project out of the underground and into the day light. He is working on a new hustle as a novelist.

What's New?

just a couple of things...

First, dig "the myron X show" on http://www.live365.com/stations/myronx23 .  it's a collection of the spoken word pieces with the afterhourssexmusic....

the name "afterhourssexmusic" comes from a good friend of mine. Its was more of a description...She used to ask me "You make any more of that sex music?"

i have a blog at www.myronx23.blogspot.com . I'll be posting a bunch of stories and rants and raves and futures there, along with a couple of others...this blog thing is the new graffiti...to me, anyway...the best way to catch up is with the blogs...I'll keep the music updates and listings here...

I have a few videos I've made to run along side the project...as soon as I get a handle on maneuvering in cyberspace, I'll get those up where they can be seen.

THE NEXT CD will be "afterhourssexmusic volume won" That will be available by the fall...

THE NEW SPOKEN WORD JOINT will be called "Pirate Radio". I'm three songs into it and I shoud have it avalable by Jan. 2005.

I'm gonna spend the rest of this year trying to get my ass back on stage...none of this is gonna work without that...

I'M WRITING A NOVEL called "Word Is Bond". It's an Urban Romance about a streetwise hair dresser that cons a platinum selling record producer out of eighty thousand dollars....I'm trying to have it wrapped by Thanksgiving...

 That's what's up...I'll holla back...
